I recently activated Two Factor Authentication on my Wells Fargo Bank account and it works well. A little while later, I noticed the routine, scheduled payments being made through PayPal were rolling to my alternate funding source, a credit card. Not even remembering I activated two factor on WFB, I called PayPal but all the could tell me was my bank was declining the charges.i checked with WFB and, no, they had no blocks on PayPal. I finally figured it out on my own, deactivated the additional security on my WFB account and the scheduled payments started processing normally.
I have been going around and around with customer support but they just don’t speak or comprehend the English language well enough to understand. If it’s not in their script, they’re USELESS.
Has anyone been able to use two factor authentication on a PayPal funding source and if so, how.
