I have pay pal credit set as my preferred way to pay for any purchases run through paypal. Lately I have noticed that some of my purhases i.e. Lyft rides and Google Play have been to charged to other forms of payments linked to my account. Is there a reason this happens and if so how do I fix it? Thanks.
PayPal reserves the right to restrict the use of the PayPal Credit virtual credit line depending on the circumstances of the purchase(s). It's all software run and automated so the exact criteria is unknown in which case another linked method is used. Your best bet is to ensure your linked payment methods have funds in it at all time and/or not over the limit (cards) to cover your purchases.
