Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum.
A pre-approved payment is created on the merchant's website and you will be given the option to checkout through PayPal. This means that you are giving the merchant permission to take funds from your PayPal account whenever the payment agreement is due.
This should not happen on every payment though, it would only occur with certain merchants. If you are experiencing this issue on every payment you make including to individual sellers please contact us by phone, email, Facebook or Twitter.
