Pre-Approved Payments

I have had a pre-approved payment set up on my account and I was not aware this had been set up? I did not set this up?

Because of this a considerable amount of money has been taken - what can I do about this - would appreciate some help as I am really struggling with this.

I have now made this in-active but am very concerned because i have lost a lot of money because of this.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Some merchants set up billing agreements when you initially make a transaction with them. They would ask for a back up funding source during checkout so it's important to read the checkout screens carefully and merchant terms and conditions. Also beware of trial periods for online services, as we can forget and don't remember to cancel.

You'll need to contact the merchant to explain the situation and request refunds on those transactions.
