Paypal transaction ID's not recognised on Weebly order

Hi,
I have a Weebly website and have Paypal at the checkout. I have received several orders and were all completed OK until today.
I have 2 orders that have been placed and accepted via the website and Paypal transaction ID's have been generated for them both. However, neither myself or the customers have received a Paypal receipt email and the activity is not showing up in either of our accounts. The transaction ID's aren't known when searched for in my account and Paypal help are looking into it as well as Weebly help. One of the customers says that the exact amount is pending in her bank account but no trace in her Paypal account.
Has anybody heard of this before while I wait for updates from Paypal and Weebly? I have wondered if this could be a scam somehow but can't see how as the orders have gone through fine on the site.
Any ideas would be appreciated
