Paypal & Apple Not Working

Hi,

 

Can anyone help me please. I used Paypal credit to buy a MacbookPro a while ago. I set it up, paid same day and picked my item up 🙂

 

I have decided that i want to make another purchase. I go to the Apple store (Online), Put item's in Bag, select Paypal (and the corresponding payment plan) and continue through to purchase. 

 

As soon as i try to complete the order it gets DECLINED! (By this i mean the page just refreshes to go through payment process again! No reason given!)

 

I've called Paypal 3 times and have been given the following reasons:

 

- Something went wrong

- Your location

- Unrecognized Device

 

To that i have responded:

 

 - Computer is logged in at Home (where i've used Paypalfor 15+ years)

 - Tried on Mobile device that's been using Paypal for 2+ Years

 

They have told me I have tried 13 times, and that i should try in 72 hrs (but the credit is not locked down).

 

I have spoken to Apple. They advise that they have no declined transaction their side.

 

It'd Driving me MAD!! I feel like Paypal either have a bug in their payment system, customer service is fobbing me off (or both!!).

Note: i can appreciate that they cannot tell me what is checked before a payment is authorized.

 

Has anyone else had this issue!?
