Payments to Japan

Is it possible to send a gift payment to a friend in Japan from the U.K. so I cover the fees and he’ll receive the full amount sent?

Yes. It is possible.

Please follow the steps below using computer or laptop.

1. Go to Send & Request.
2. Enter the receiver's name, email or phone number and click Next.
3. Under $0.00, click the drop down menu then select Japan currency.
4. Enter the amount you want to send.
5. If the reason shows as 'Paying for an item or service', click Change and select 'Sending to a friend'.
6. Click the gift box icon to choose a card theme and enter a personal note.
7. Click Next.
8. Click Continue to confirm your transaction.

Note: Friends and family payment does not come with purchase protection.
