Payment Pending for Over 4 Days

I sent a payment on April 21, and it cleared my bank account two days ago, but the recipient still does not see any record of it in his account. I sent it as friends and family, and I sent him USD, converted from Canadian dollars, when his currency is Polish zloty. I've sent many payments online before and it's never been this long. Is it because his account is new?

Can his Paypal account accept USD?

He says his account is set up for USD payments and CAD payments, so that can't be it.

What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?

1. Pending / Unclaimed.
2. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Completed / Sent.
4. Pending / Uncleared.

Also check if he has accepted paypal payments before and if not has he verified his paypal email address.

Then check that that email address was correct when supplied without any spelling errors or typos.

The second one, but it is definitely out of my bank account at this point. He got me to send it through a PayPal.me link, but he has not accepted any payments before.

If its unclaimed with a cancel option then the funds are going nowhere as the paypal.me link must have a spelling mistake in it and the funds will not complete.

Suggest you cancel but it may take up to a week for the funds to process back to your funding source.

Well, it's disheartening that that's the answer, but I guess I gotta take it. Thanks for all your help, man. Hope the seller gets me the correct email.
