I noticed this direct debit set up on bank account: 

JPMC RE PAYPAL INTL LTD

What is this for?

So you can fund purchases or pay any paypal fees (if you are a seller), funding it from your bank account.

No company can take funds from your bank account eg when you pay electric or water bill etc without a direct debit being set up.

However the amount shown is always the 'last' seller you paid.
