Anyone know if Paypayl provide BIC and IBAN number to recieved payment from abroad

The whole point of paypal is to keep bank and card information confidential.

Hey there, 

I am having the same issue and also agree that that is the point of paypal; to keep personal bank info confidential, but alas, they are insisting. Is there some way to figure this out? The answer is probably right in front of me, so am still looking. 

If you have any suggestions, etc... much welcomed. I did write the company back (thankfully have not worked so am not expecting any payments) and explained that this seemed strange...they offer paypal option yet require this.

Check bank information, mine for example ..W.F. Sioux Falls branch doesn't have one.

Most Banks have a SWIFT for foreign currency, international wire, national wire, international wire in USD or unknown currency. As for these, I was unable to differentiate between the two, I am also uncertain of the banking information required for transfers. Whether they be Wells Fargo or PayPal Inc., I've yet to research however, I'd be inclined to assume the latter. I do not work for PayPal. This information can be found at provided link.
