I was charged the full amount on my credit card even though I used my PayPal balance

I made a payment of ‪53.10 USD‬ using my ‪8.81 USD‬ balance and the rest from the credit card.

53.10 USD was charged to my credit card and 8.81 USD‬ was charged to my balance. (8.81 USD was payed twice)

The payment was cancelled and I got refunded with ‪44.29 USD‬ even though ‪53.10 USD were payed from my card.
