I can't find my money anymore

I got paid to do a writing commission in April of this year, but I couldn't transfer it to my bank account right away because it wasn't quite over $15 CAD. However, it was indeed in my wallet, so it did go through.
But now I can't find it. It still shows up in my activity history, but my wallet balance it at $0.
Any idea why and how I could potentially get it back without requesting more money from the person who commissioned me?
Thanks.

Have you bought anything and paid for it via paypal since the payment went in??
The reason i ask is that if you have funds in your paypal balance and then buy something then paypal will sometimes take from those funds rather than from your normal funding source eg bank account or card.
To check go and click on the word "details" next to any recent paypal buying transaction and see if they were funded from your paypal balance ie buyers payments rather than your normal funding source.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I don't think so. I've checked all of my transactions like you said but they each said I paid for it via my credit card.
