How much does my friend need to pay?

I have a friend in Italy that needs to send me 125 pounds sterling.  He will pay in euros.  After taking into account any PayPal fees and todays exchange rate how much will he have to pay in euros?  Is there somewhere on the PayPal app or webpage that would enable me to find out this information?

Thank you for raising your concern through our community forum.

The primary currency of your PayPal account is the default payment currency unless you choose to use another currency.

To send money in a different currency:
1. Go to Send & Request.
2. Enter the email address, mobile number or name of the recipient and click Next.
3. Enter the amount, choose the currency (below the entered amount), and add a note if needed.
4. Click Continue.

If you want to change the payment method, under "Payment Method," click Change.

Review the details you've entered and click Send Money Now to complete your transaction.

When you use a credit card as the payment method, we ask you to choose who performs the currency conversion:
1. If you choose PayPal, we can show you the conversion rate at the time of the transaction
2. If you choose the credit card association currency conversion, your card issuer will determine the foreign exchange rate to apply to the transaction. You will not be informed of the foreign exchange rate or any additional foreign exchange fees applied until you are billed by your card issuer
3. American Express payments are always charged in US Dollars.

In addition, you can also send a money request to thus friend of yours with the amount you needed.

Here's how to:
1. From your PayPal app, tap Request Money.
2. Enter the name, email or mobile number of the person from whom you're requesting money.
3. Type the amount requested, and tap Next.

From your computer, this is how:
1. Click Send & Request at the top of the page.
2. Click Request.
3. Enter the required name, email or phone number and click Next.
4. Add a note, if needed.
5. Review your request and click Request Now.
