Saturday evening, I was supposed to receive a sum amount for a total of $133. The same person who sent also sent $5 to someone using the same payment method, and it went through without trouble. What could’ve caused this payment to become an ‘eCheck’ and stay pending for the past 3 business days? It’s seriously irking me and I wish there were an option to refund, but there is not. I called PayPal support and they re-assured me that refunding or canceling is not an option. Friends and Family payment. Anyone?

Hi @Jammo1,
An eCheck payment is sent when the sender chooses their bank to fund the payment and doesn't have an approved backup payment method. It's possible that their backup payment method was approved for one transaction and not another.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
Olivia
