Failure to receive payment on my ecommerce site

I just launched a complete rebuild of my ecommerce website (on Wordpress). I had about five customers make a purchase, and when I did not receive payment, I discovered that the developer made a typo in my email address in the PayPal settings within Woocommerce. I corrected my email and contacted the customers to ask them to cancel their order and try again. They did, and despite my email address now being correct, I am still not receiving payment. How do I correct this?

Hi SnooZzoo,

Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum and welcome as a new member!

As you have now updated your email address, please ensure that you have confirmed the new email address on your account. When you add an email address to your PayPal account, we send you an email to confirm that you own the email address. Click the link in the email to confirm your email address. If you don't receive the email, you can request that we send it to you again.

Here’s how to confirm your email address:

  1. Click the Settings icon next to "Log out".
  2. Click Update beside the email.
  3. Click Confirm this email.
  4. Click the link in the email to complete the confirmation process.

Tips:

  • Until you confirm your email address, you can't receive money.
  • You also must confirm your email address before you can make it the primary email address on your account.
