Etsy error message

Im getting this error message when trying to check out.  I've confirmed my address in my wallet.  This continues to come up when I try to pay

Hmm. Something's wrong with your PayPal shipping address.

Please re-enter your address below or choose another one.

Came here because I have the exact same problem. I've purchased on Etsy many times before and had no problem and have not changed my address since. Etsy customer service asked me to contact PayPal.

I've made many Paypal purchases. Began receiving the message above today while checking out on Etsy. I received the message before and after providing a new shipping address.

I messaged PayPal 12 hours ago, no reply yet.

This is the reply PayPal gave me:

"I understand your frustration. I can see that everything is fine with your PayPal account. You can make other transactions, so the error must lie with the seller. If you have such a possibility, make a transaction on a different page. If it fails, it means that the error is undeniably on the side of the Etsy.

Thank you for contacting PayPal and thank you for your trust."

Etsy and the store already told me everything is fine on their end, so everyone is blaming each other here.. Great.

When I messaged them they said to log out and clear all my cookies and try again. It didn't work for me but it might for someone.

Etsy made me remove the item from my cart and sign in via mobile and add it again and try to purchase from there. And for some reason, that worked! Tip for everyone else!
