Depop Payment on Hold to Seller

Hello! In purchasing an item from a Depop shop, my payment has NOT been received by the Depop seller. I think it may be worth mentioning that the item was listed in AUD and I purchased with USD, as PayPal would do the conversion. On my PayPal account my payment to the seller shows up as pending, but my bank account shows that the money has already been taken out of my account. I purchased this item on April 15, 2020.

You should have sent AUD and then paypal would have converted the funds for you from your linked bank account or card and charged you in USD.

If the seller has not got USD as a receiving currency on their account they would have to add it and then pay conversion charges.

If they don't then it will stay as pending on your paypal account for 30 days and then time out and be returned to you.
