I'm at a lost of what to do at this point. I have used PayPal personally for years but just used the invoice for goods feature for the first time in October. I sent 9 invoices, they paid, then the payment status went to pending and I was unable to receive the money. When I clicked accept it said I needed to verify my account but when I attempted to it said it was unable to because my bank account was already link. I contacted the message center for assistance and they said that they verified my account. I was still not able to receive the funds they still showed pending for a few days so, I messaged again and paypal said to wait 21 days for a new seller was typical and the funds would be available after that time. I had uploaded all tracking information and received zero complaints from my buyers, everything was delivered fine. I had tried calling PayPal several times but it's extremely hard to get a real person on the phone and have very long wait times. Then Paypal sent me notifications today(THANKSGIVING MORNING) saying that the status is now canceled and the money was returned(7 out of the 9 invoices) to the buyers. The two remaining are still showing pending and I am not able to receive them. I called and spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service today missing the Thanksgiving day parade with my children and paypal told me they sent the money back after not being claimed for 30 days. I explained that I am unable to claim the money because of it's pending status. They said again it's because of my account not being verified then verified it again while I was on the phone with them, texting me a code going through pushing my account to verified to receive the 2 remaining pending payments. My account is STILL not verified there is an obvious glitch with their system and they are not helping me to receive my money still pending. they said I would need to request the money again from all the buyers that they canceled the payments for and even though if I can get all of the buyers to resend the money back to me(they already have the goods) they can't guarantee that I'll receive the money because they can't fix the verified glitch on my account and really arent trying. What are my options here? They are extremely hard to talk to. I dont get how they can claim to be safe for sellers when I was just robbed hundreds of dollars right before Christmas in a one income house. This is just heartbreaking.
