Amounts on my bill that do not appear on my statement

I save the statements from Paypal each month but when my bill arrives via my credit card for items charged on Paypal, I frequently cannot find the amount listed.  Does anyone else have this problem?  Is the amount shown the total that was charged in a given month or is it the total charges for that statement period.  I cannot match up the information either way.  Due to this frustration I am reluctant to continue using Paypal.

If you bought something online with a debit or credit card and did NOT log into your paypal account then of course it won't show on your paypal account as you bought as a 'guest buyer'.
However your seller may have processed that payment using their Paypal 'card reader' and so Paypal would show on your bank or card statement.

If that is not the case then contact customer services AND your card issuer to query the transactions.

If you need to open a dispute for a 'guest buyer' transaction then you can.......

1. Phone Paypal customer services and see if they will open one for you OR
2. Contact your card issuer for a chargeback.

You can also look at your transactions online at your card account if some transactions don't appear in the current statement period but is listed in the card's recent charges.
