Payflow Pro does not respond after entering credit card information

I have been successfully using Payflow Pro for many years. Recently it has stopped working and I have made no changes to my web pages.

 

After entering the credit card information and clicking "Submit Order", it shows "Please wait - transaction being processed ..." and the spinning wheel forever. My customer waited for over 1/2 hour. I have verified it myself many times with the same result.

 

I submitted a tech support ticket and have gotten no response.

 

Can anyone help me? My eCommerce website is DOWN until I get this resolved. HELP!

I figured it out.

 

Apparently PayPal did not like my .htaccess file. Simply getting rid of the file solved the problem.
