Where can I find specific information about payments that are made?

The PayPal button on my website has people start by entering the name of the group participant they are paying for (which may or may not be themselves) before going to pay with a PayPal account or credit card. I used to get emails from PayPal when a payment was made that would include the group participant name. Now I am seeing the email address only and not the participant name. I can't even find the participant name when I log into my account. What can I do to find that information? It is critical to have, otherwise I don't know who has paid and who has not.

If you are not receiving the participant name information in your PayPal email notifications and are unable to find it within your PayPal account, there are a few steps you can take to address this: 1. **Check Email Notification Settings:** - Log in to your PayPal account. - Navigate to your account settings and check your email notification preferences. - Verify that the relevant information, including participant names, is set to be included in the email notifications. 2. **Review PayPal Button Code:** - If you have control over the code or configuration of the PayPal button on your website, ensure that the participant name information is being properly passed to PayPal. Check the button code for any issues related to data transmission. 3. **Contact PayPal Support:** - Reach out to PayPal customer support for assistance. They can review your account settings and provide guidance on why participant names might not be included in the notifications. 4. **Customize PayPal Notifications:** - If your PayPal account allows for customization of payment notifications, explore those settings. Some PayPal accounts offer customization options that allow you to include specific information in the email notifications. 5. **Check Transaction Details in PayPal Account:** - Log in to your PayPal account and review the transaction details for payments received. There might be an option to view additional information or customize the columns displayed. 6. **Consult Your Website Platform or Developer:** - If you are using a specific website platform or content management system, check its documentation or consult with your website developer to ensure that participant names are being transmitted correctly to PayPal. By combining these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve any issues related to the lack of participant name information in your PayPal payment notifications. If the issue persists, contacting PayPal customer support is recommended for personalized assistance.
