Outdated response from Paypal? Please help

Hi guys. I sent an e-mail recently to PayPal regarding my problem but it seems that their reply is an automatic, outdated reply that was applicable only to the old website. These are the steps I need to follow according to them:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click Profile near the top of the page.
  3. Click My money.
  4. Click Update beside 'Credit/Debit cards.'
  5. Click Link and Confirm My Card.
  6. Click Save and Continue.

Please I need your help. I want to protect my money.
