Netflix says "Update your payment information to continue" :(

Hi, I subscribed to Netflix and used Paypal as means of payment. It's been going smoothly for the past 2 months but now, all of a sudden Netflix has stopped my access. It just says "Update your payment information to continue". I didn't change anything and I am very certain that I have enough funds on my credit card. Can anyone help? Whenever I click "continue to Paypal" in the payment page of Netflix it just stays on the page with a message in orange saying "The payment system is unavailable right now. Please try again later." TIA

chatted with a Netflix rep and I was informed that my several attempts to update the account using PayPal appeared in Netflix's system and appeared as failed everytime I attempted it. I was informed to contact PayPal so i'm still checking to see if anyone else experienced the same issue. Indeed, im not alone in this. I will try to get a hold of a rep from PayPal to ask

Hi @euwi76, I don't think this applies to me nor to you. I am accessing Netflix through their official site in my region, "netflix.com/ph/". This may be a problem within Paypal. Did they make any recent updates or changes in account requirements? 😞

I contacted both with Netflix and PayPal, but nothing seems to work.. 😕
