PayPal PDT Error Code 4001

I have been testing PDT payments using my sandbox account successfully.  I recently got a 'FAILURE' response and an error code '4001' for the second line.  I have not been able to find documentation anywhere (surprise surprise....) on what the PDT error returns are.  Any one have any insight on this?  Thanks.
