Need Help With SmartConnect, which a closed paypal account.

I closed my paypal account and I owe smartconnect only 9.99$. I wanted to pay them back with a new account but I do not know how. I emailed paypal and they told me to call paypal customer service. I got transferred to like 10 different people on the call, then they disconnected...After that I recalled and they transferred me to a machine which did not helped at all...So this is my last option, I wonder if anyone has ever been in this situation and if you do please give me some advice.
P.S I also do not know the number of my smartconnect...

I'd like to tell you that you will someday find a human that will not transfer you but the odds are not in your favor. I accidentally got a supervisor 3 weeks ago, he transferred me to the correct place (that told him he was the right dept), they said they would resolve my issue, and of course they did nothing. They refused to give me a confirmation number or an email to confirm. The supervisor told me he would call in 3 days to make sure they did what they said they would do, and big surprise, he did not call back.
Paypal has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with (and I used to bill for medical insurance). I think all you can do is go to the BBB (better business bureau) and open a claim. They are usually able to get a businesses attention when they won't help you.
I hope you have better luck than I did.

If you click here, you can find all the information for contacting the PayPal Credit Service Center.
Calling that department directly prevents you from having to be transferred, which happens if you call the regular PayPal customer service number.

The representatives there have access to the tools and information needed to address questions and issues related to PayPal Smart Connect and the PayPal Extras MasterCard.
