I've been in the UK for a few months now. Everywhere I go I have to use cash only because I have yet to find a place that will accept my Paypal card, even though it's Mastercard!! They just look at it, look at me, smile, then hand it back. I got one place to try to use it but the manager came over, said they couldn't accept it, and made the cashier cancel the transaction. That's the closest I've gotten to buying something with it over here. The only way I can get money over here is to Paypal my girlfriend money in GBP, she transfers it to her bank account, we wait a few days, then she goes and withdraws the money from her bank account. Long process! Haven't tried other places in Europe, but has anyone else had any luck?! This is very annoying!!!
