Paypal Debit Card on the Fritz

What would cause a Paypal issued debit card to stop working? I tried it at point of sale, atm, and online. All three methodes gets denied. I have money in my paypal account and have used the card before. I know there is a $400 daily limit at ATM and a $3000 total per daily spending limit. I have not come close to that. I paid some bills online totaling about $1000 and bought pizza from Domino's. That should not have caused my card to stop working, right? If a security feature was tripped that caused my card to cease to function, would I not get an alert in email or control panel?

Welcome to the boards!

There are a few things that could cause the card to cease functioning temporarily - such as hitting your back up funding limit or a temporary security block on the card.  While the first can be solved with time (it automatically resets), if the card has had a temporary block placed against it, that will require that you call in to PayPal to have it reviewed and verify recent transactions.  Flip the card over and give them a ring, it's usually a quick fix!

Thanks!
