i don't think it is a "must have" in order to get the paypal debit card. what matters is whether or not you have established
some kind of track record with your credit in the past....making a car payment on time, purchasing something from a department store on lay-away, etc. these things from your past would count in your favor. anything on your credit report
that is negative would of course count against you. i believe all three credit reports are free once a year nowadays, so
look on line for FICO score and they should be able to give you the information on how to get them.
