I just signed up for PayPal credit and was approved. I made a purchase but now want to cancel the pending transaction. I tried calling PayPal but keep getting disconnected b4 talking to a rep. Can someone tell me how I can cancel the transaction. It's a merchant that I'm having doubts about because it's overseas

You can't cancel a pending or completed payment.

You can only cancel an unclaimed payment ie incorrect email address.

If the seller does not process your pending payment then it would time out at 30 days post payment.

If it completes then you would need to request the merchant to cancel and refund you if they agree.

If not then paypal covers you for non receipt of item OR item received but not as described up to 180 days post payment (terms and conditions apply).
