I just noticed fine print on the PayPal Giving donate page that says that funds will typically be sent to the designated charity 15 to 45 days after the donation. Why this delay? Does the charity get a notification of the donation before then? We want to send acknowledgements to our donors as soon as the donations are made, not six weeks later. That would be rude enough to discourage any future donations.
