Moonshop SCAM

I placed an order online with Heywellgo and it was billed under Moonshop. They sent me a so called tracking number that relates to no transportation company that I am aware of sending the product to the Vatican City. The address I put in was Virginia. Sent them an email and they told me they cannot do anything. I don't think they ever shipped anything and this is a scam. Beware of Moonshop or Heywellgo. After seeing all the complaints on Paypal I don't understand why they allow them on Paypal..

Chinese Web Sites or on Social Media ads easy to spot (once you know the below signs) so buyer beware.

1. No return address on the returns policy............thats because the site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) BUT they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost nearly always more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number............if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. No company address information.
4. Great looking items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.

Have you opened a dispute for non receipt of item? If not do so and put ALL THE INFORMATION of that fake tracking number on that dispute before you escalate to a claim.

Then if you lose because the seller provided tracking, come and post back on here for the correct way to APPEAL.

I had the same issue, the same timeframe as you did with Moon Shop.  I kept asking for a refund and they kept telling me the product was in transit.  After 2.5 months, I did a dispute resolution with paypal and then *poof* suddenly a tracking number appears (AFTER I submitted dispute resolution).  As soon as the item was delivered, Paypal closed the case not in my favor.  Nevermind that what arrived was NOTHING like what I ordered, and I returned it immediately using the return address on the package (since they failed to provide one).  Now, the seller refuses to provide a refund stating they haven't not recevied the items; however, I took pictures of the package I sent, with the USPS tracking number on it, and I can see it was delivered to them on 2 September 2020.  My next step is to contact the US Customs and Border Patrol since Paypal wants to be complicit in this crime.
