Bank Transfer Notices?

I initiated a bank transfer Friday afternoon and have two questions:

1. By "next business day," does PayPal mean Saturday if my bank is open on Saturday morning?
2. I didn't receive any kind of notice that PayPal had initiated the transfer. The money still shows as being in my account. But now when I attempt to make another transfer it shows $0.00 available, which I assume means it's in the process. Can you set up your account to provide more notification?
