trying to change account from business back to personal/private

hello, i have emailed paypal several times but have not received any reply. i recently changed my long standing account to a business account (i was having issues on airbnb and needed to add a payment method for my new company)

but i use paypal for other transactions as well outside my company sphere so need to get my account back to a personal account. how can i do that?

i have tried looking around and it only says contact paypal...

There is no automatic way to downgrade a business account to a personal account, you have to contact customer services and they will do that for you.
You can click on help / contact bottom left of every Paypal page for contact options for your country.

Thank you for your reply. I have emailed them 3 times with no answer and the telphone has a 2.5 hour wait and i am calling from Greece so that is not an option. I am thinking of deleting my account and creating a new personal one again. is that possible?

Yes you can close your business account and open a personal one OR you can have both a business AND a personal one.

If you close it then don't forget to end any subscriptions / remove all cards and bank accounts etc etc first.
