paypal escrow

hi everyone I'm new here I'm currently trying to buy a van from eBay the seller asked me to email him so I did then he carry's on saying about payment through PayPal escrow saying they will hold my money till I receive the van he then sent me a invoice which looks legit saying for me to click live PayPal chat to proceed to pay into a PayPal escrow account in Spain and shiply will deliver the van the cost of the van in a couple thousand im worried I don't want to be scammed

Its a scam, paypal does not do escrow and there is no paypal seller protection for motor vehicles.

thank you iv not continued with the purchase iv tried for 2 days to try and get into contact with paypal but not got anything back thank you for your reply 🙂 @kernowlass

Thought i had bought a truck off Pistonheads, everything seemed ok until the seller sent email with Paypal escrow account details....clicked on Paypal invoice and was directed to "paypal" chat which when gave bank details BBVA in Spain. The money was to be held until the truck was delivered by Shipleys. 

Fwiw the truck was based in Warwickshire.  Reading posts on here, sounds like other ppl have had the same experience.  I didn't go ahead with the purchase.  Be aware!!
