What does "money sent" actually mean.

I have sent money to a family member who I can't get in touch with. My payment account says "money sent" but it does not let me know if the money was received or accepted. How do I verify that the money sent was received or accepted? Any help with this would be appreciated. Thank you

@sage4557 If its marked as money sent then it successfully completed to the email address/ paypal account you sent it to.
