Receiving payment notifications in messenger.

Ive been receiving notifications for payments I have made via Facebook messenger.  For some reason this has stopped and now I have to keep logging into PayPal to see if the transaction has gone through.  Is there something that I have done or haven't done to make this happen.  I really could do with this being rectified.  Any guidance would be very much appreciated.

We are receiving around 40% of the payment notification emails ok, but 60% are like 6 hours late.

some emails  come straight through with no delay to speak of, and randomly 40% take anything from 2 to 6 hours

is anyone else having this issue, its been like this for about a week now

I've had the same issue since December 17, 2020 and it is still unresolved. Any ideas on a fix or did they simply discontinue this service?
