My boyfriend and I are planning on buying a golden retriever puppy, but the breeder would like a deposit for the puppy. Due to them living in Ireland and us living in Scotland it would be tough to visit the puppies as well as covid before purchasing . The breeder has send videos of pups and we are planning on doing a video call, but I was wondering if I were to pay a deposit for a puppy via PayPal and for instance it was a scam would I get refunded through palpal, if I were to pay using goods and services? If not what would be the safest way to do this?
