I do not have a drivers license or a passport but I have other things that verify my identity. My account was locked and PayPal asked me to submit a photo of my drivers license or passport. I uploaded one of the other documents I talked about in the beginning, will that work to verify my identity?

Hi @Lovechants1 It really depends on a couple of things: 1. The reason why the account was locked 2. The team supporting the case 3. And the validity and quality of the document sent. Hope this helps.

I’m a seller on eBay, I don’t know why my account was even locked in the first place. I provided all the information asked and there’s $900 stuck in my PayPal account.

Funds maybe held due to the potential risk involved with the transaction that results in the need to provide proof of identity to clear the funds.
