If its a spoof, NEVER USE ANY LINK.

Firstly if the email/text addressed you as ''Dear Member'' / ''Customer'' / ''Client'' OR your ''email address'' then that confirms its a spoof as paypal would address you by your full name eg Dear John Smith.

Secondly if there was a link OR attachment in that email/text to ''cancel'' any transaction or ''confirm'' any details then again it would be a spoof.

If there was a problem with your account Paypal would not ask you to click on an unsafe link in an email or by downloading an attachment, they would direct you to log in normally and go to the resolution or the message centre for more information.

Thank you for your help but no , i did not receive any emails and i did not click on nothing from my emails . I think my paypal account is being hacked . I am a music producer and this is my account where i receive money from my music . It says that i paid 50€ for Web Design and i sent an email to that person asking what is happening and he didnt respond . Someone is stealing money from me and i need help . I did not press on any kind of link or email and i do not have my Paypal account associated with nothing but my Austrian Bank Account . As soon as i will receive more money they are going to steal more from me i think . It is very important for me , please ..

if you were hacked......

Click on the transaction in your paypal account and use the 'report a problem' link at the bottom to report it as unauthorised if that is what it was.

An unauthorised transaction means that your Paypal account was hacked and used without your consent.
If Paypal check IP addresses / devices etc and find that it was hacked then yes you should receive your refund.

I hope you changed your password and security questions?
I hope you ran a virus scan on your computer?
I would also be telling my card issuers and bank accounts company that the account was hacked so that they can keep an eye on your account OR remove the financial info involved until things are sorted.
