Email listed phone numbe[Removed. Phone #s not permitted] When I called, it was identified as being PayPal. The person on the line wanted me to use Teamviewer to cancel a transaction I didn't make (which hasn't shown up on my Paypal account). Sounded very, very suspicious so I hung up. Anyone else get an email from this company about a membership program costing $449.99?

It would be a spoof scam email, paypal never put their phone number in an email for that reason, they tell you to log on to their site and use the contact us option for your country for the correct number.
The number you rang would have been a scammer.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. Good to know about the phone number. Didn't know that. Of course, I've changed my password and am monitoring activity, just in case.
