I just created a Paypal account and I wanted to know if it is absolutely necessary to link it to my personal bank card. Mainly, I will use the Paypal account only to deposit money on it from other sources, or for online shopping. I really don't want to create a link between my Paypal account and my personal bank card because I want all transactions to remain in the Paypal account.
