Hi
I've just received a text similar to a lot of people, saying...
'PayPal A -£9.99 GBP transaction with Google on 4 August 2018 was marked suspicious. Please reply "1' if authorized or "2" if not authorized.'
I'm rather concerned about this as itsi a regular payment I make for a book or film etc. IveI ignored it for now.
I've then logged into my account, everything looks OK, nothing 'flagged up' as a possible security issue. So I thought idI change my password. They sent me a text to input a 6 digit numerical code which I did and then continued to change my password.
However, this text also came from 62226. Plus I had only changed my password yesterday going through the exact same procedure, but I can't remember to number it came from and iveI since deleted the text.
This is a bit worrisome after reading other people's posts. So I think to be on the safe side I'll try to contact PayPal to get to the bottom of it.
