PayPal for woocommerce, unsupported currencies problem

Hi,

i have a woocommerce website & i have installed this PayPal plugin: WooCommerce PayPal Payments

my website has 2 currencies: USD (base currency), EGP

and i'm using this currency swwitcher

• if the order currency is USD, the transaction go smoothly with no issue.
• if the order currency is EGP i got the error: CURRENCY_NOT_SUPPORTED Currency code is not currently supported. Please refer https://developer.paypal.com/docs/integration/direct/rest/currency-codes/ for list of supported currency codes.

i know that EGP is not supported currency by paypal, but i know many websites uses EGP in checkout and the EGP currency pass normally to PayPal & you can checkout noramlly with EGP.

so since PayPal doesn't support EGP, how these website able to bypass the EGP and can checkout with Paypal?

and how to apply this in my woocommerce website

Yes i have same issue and i see other website can checkout in EGP i don't know how to apply this on woocommerce

I can see you trying to process the order in the currency of EGP, which brings the error of "Currency code is not currently supported."Please notice that PayPal doesn't support EGP currency at this moment.

THx for your reply,

but i already know that paypal not accepting EGP in the suported currencies list.

my question is how the EGP is accepted and bypassed to Payapl and can be chekced out normally in many websites like i mentioned in the main thread,

if you check them you will find if you go to checkout the currency will be EGP even in the Payapl, i know it will be converted to the Payapl balance currency after that.

but here i'm asking how they bypass EGP to Paypal checkout  and make customers pay in EGP also,

i already added screenshot showing this but removed by admin
