username change to match bank name -- NO MONEY WILL TRANSFER

HI,

 When I opened my pp account I simply opened it using my everyday nick name, bob.  My bank account shows Robert plus MI and suffix. NOW I discover that in order to transfer funds from my pp account to the CONFIRMED bank account that the name must match otherwise funds will be returned and I will be penalized. There does not seem to be a simple fix for this. I have already tried to file a change form, it only allows 2 lines of text for explainations. I have no idea is this is being fixed, have had no replies from pp yet and I have close to a thousand dollars sitting there that I need and cannot get access to. What do I still need to do to resolve this? Do I dare ship a $700 package to my buyer not knowing if I will ever receive my money? Please help.

on the paypal.com site, type in "how to change name" one of the results will be how to change name on an account.  For issues such as name changes due to marriage/divorce and nicknames being entered instead of real names the answer there should work..  For nicknames they are ones normally associated with names such as bob and robert, not nicknames like tater salad 🙂
