Is it possible to get an Account here in India?

Hi i am from Siliguri, India and i do have a netbanking option of Bank of India. But i don't know how to open a pay pal account. Kindly help

I'm sorry you won't be able to respond directly to this post - we've made some improvements to the PayPal Community Help Forums, and as part of the upgrade, all existing posts were Archived and locked. The new boards and the new Community is accessible here.

We definitely support India based accounts!  To open an account registered in India, go to the PayPal website and click "sign up."  On the next page, there will be a drop down option for your country of residence.  Just change that to India and follow the remaining prompts.
