There is no way to assign a beneficiary, but I completely understand the notion and it is absolutely a good one. If something should happen and this becomes necessary, we would require documents from the executor of your estate to get any funds out of the account and the account closed up. Once the funds have been removed the executor could see to the distribution of the balance.
