Had Legal Name Change, Sent Paperwork... Old Name Still On Account How to Fix?

Hi everyone.

Last August I had my complete name legally changed. I vaguely remember actually talking to someone from PayPal and I sent the required copies of the court documents and asked that my account name be changed.

Here I am a year later and my old name still is on account.

How can I change this?

Hello Tjrasa and welcome!

If you have a personal/premier account you wont be able to change the complete name on the account.  if this is the case then the best option for you is to close you current account and create a new one with you new name.  If you have a business account you would be able to change the whole name on the account.  Click the contact us link at the bottom of any of the PayPal pages, select to email us, click my account for the topic then name change for the sub topic.  Once you click the continue, it will take to you another page with some links on it, choose the one that best fits your situation and just follow the instructions from there. 🙂
