Why cant i transfer my money?

Just sold my first item on ebay. The buyer has paid the said amount and it stands in my account here but when I click transfer to my bank account it keeps saying "Please check your information and try again". The bank account i'm trying to transfer to is confirmed so why cant I get my money? I'm not shipping this item until the money is in my account.

Paypal is 'country specific' so advice often depends on what country you are in. As you have not added your country to your community profile or said in your post then we can't help at the moment.

Are the funds cleared or pending in your paypal balance?

If a buyer opens a dispute for any reason then having the funds in your bank account would make no difference, if the buyer won any dispute and you didn't refund then paypal would put your account into negative and pass a debt to a collection agency to recover for them.
