Not able to add a German account

Hi, I want to link my German bank to my paypal but it only gives you US bank as an option even though my country is set to Germany (at least my profile shows it as such). If I Google in German how to link the bank account it seems to be in the same settings, but in my case it only asks for a US account. Can anybody help me?

So why do you have an Icelandic paypal account?

I come from Iceland so I originally created my account there. And moved to Germany few years back.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

You can however add a U.S bank account (not card) to 'most' other countries paypal accounts. This is because paypal is a U.S company and so allows this.

I haved the same problem. That is becouse you open account in the some other country. I change everything in my Paypall account i meen e-mail... Then i erese account and with old e-mail from first account i open new Paypall account. I changed email because after i erase old account i open new with that e-mail. Try this.
