The payment you received may have been processed as an eCheck.
An eCheck is an electronic payment funded by the sender's bank account. It may take up to 6 business days for an eCheck to clear.
If you are a seller or a recipient of an eCheck payment, you will not be able to cancel it. Only the sender of an eCheck is able to cancel the payment, which they can do by asking their bank to do a Stop Payment on it.
***Do NOT ship any items or provide any services until the eCheck clears and payment shows available in your PayPal account.
If you don’t want to wait up to 6 business days to receive the eCheck, contact the sender who may be able to send you money a different way.
